Marjorie Lee (Margie) Twine

Marjorie Lee Twine, 86, passed away on March 03, 2023 in Gulfport, MS. She was born on December 28, 1936 in Oteen, North Carolina to Thomas Helton and Ardell Holliman. Margie grew up in Oteen, North Carolina one of seven children. Being from a large family made her compassionate but tuff when needed. She was very wise, independent, and lady like with a heart of gold. Margie liked to craft things out of wood, dabble in her garden planting flowers, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Margie was a wonderful, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many that will be missed dearly. Margie is preceded in death by her loving, parents, Thomas, and Ardell Helton; children, Dana Gillis, and George Thomas Breland; brother, Roger Helton; and sisters, Diane Swetman and Martha Johns. Margie is survived by her loving daughter, Dawn Sanders; sisters Betty Roberts, and Mary Harmon; brother, Rudolph (Joyce) Helton; grandchildren, Robert Lind, Gary Peterman, Anna Gillis, Robin Cuevas, and Erin Wynn. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
