Margie Glynne Ladner, 86, of Kiln, MS., passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, at University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. Margie was born on January 15, 1939, to her parents, Rush and Adris Ladner. Margie was a lifelong homemaker who truly enjoyed all the joys raising a family brought. She loved arts and crafts, but her favorite place to be was in the kitchen, where she was known for her expertise. She served the Hancock County School District in the Food and Nutrition Department for over twenty years. Margie always loved going out to eat with her family whether it was the same place every time or they were trying something new. Ms. Margie truly loved living life, and she did just that every single day with the joy and laughter she shared. She took pride in her presence, never leaving the house without her earrings and lip stick, often getting heckled by her boys for getting so dolled up. One thing was for sure: Margie loved her family, and they loved her! She always wanted to know when those grandbabies and great-grandbabies were coming to visit, because she genuinely loved their company. Margie is preceded in death by her husband, Laverne J. Ladner; her parents, Rush and Adris Ladner; her brothers, Eugene and Pyburn "Smoky" Ladner; and one sister, Jewel Ladner. Left to cherish her love of cooking, her children, Michael (Shirley) Ladner of Moss Point, Wade (Pat) Ladner of Kiln, Jeffrey Ladner of Monroe, La., and Pamela (Blaze) Kostin of Cantonement, Fl; her five grandchildren, Holly, Jacob, Noah, Dillon, and Nisa; six great-grandchildren, Aubree, Carter, Emmy, Kamren, Paityn, and Arabella; and one sister, Ella Mae Ladner; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends whom she loved very much. Services for Ms. Margie will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Dedeaux, beginning with a Visitation at 9:00 am and Mass at 11:00 am. Ms. Margie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Standard Sandhill Cemetery directly following. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Ladner family and would ask that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days ahead.
