Margarita Shinn, a native of the Philippines, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. A woman of strong character and unwavering independence, she overcame life’s challenges with grace and determination. Margarita had a vibrant personality that could light up any room—feisty, funny, and full of life.
She loved cooking, karaoke, and gathering with friends and family, preparing authentic Philippine meals on any given day, just because she loved to share. She was an incredible cook, a gracious host, and the life of every gathering, often filling the room with music as she sang and danced with joy. A devoted mother and grandmother, Margarita’s love for her family knew no bounds. She worked hard, loved fiercely, and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Margarita is preceded by her loving mother, Romualda Rostata. She is survived by her children, Lowell Shinn (Brandy) and Racquel Wood (Jimmy); grandchildren, Laurel Davidson, Bret Wood, Madeline Joy (Tanner), Abby Wood, and Caleb Shinn; and great-grandchildren, Eden Davidson and Marcus Joy.
