Lynn Mason

Lynn Margaret Mason, aged 69, left this Earth to be with our Lord and Savior on March 11, 2025, in Saucier, MS, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 20, 1955, in Georgia, Lynn's warm spirit and joyous heart touched all who knew her throughout her vibrant life. Lynn pursued her passion for nature by earning her Bachelor of Science in Horticulture at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her love for the outdoors was evident to all, as she could often be found floating the creek, hunting for arrowheads or old bottles, or simply reveling in the delight of her grandbabies' laughter amidst the natural world she cherished deeply. Lynn's enthusiasm for life extended to her affection for animals, particularly her cherished dogs, and her impressive collection of antiques, which she amassed with an expert eye and loving care. She is Preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Acey Theo Welch Jr., her Daughter Rebecca Welch, and her Grandbabies Trey and Chey, her legacy lives on through her Sons, Acey Theo Welch III and Joey Mason; her daughters, Vicky (Rob) Philpot and Jennifer (Jason) Hintz; along with 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family to whom she was a beacon of inspiration and love. Lynn's enduring spirit and the essence of her love will forever remain in the hearts of all who were graced by her presence. Her family honors her memory by celebrating the extraordinary life she led and the remarkable woman she was.
