Louis C. Paxton, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 23, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 91.
He was a man defined by dedication, strength, and quiet humility. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Louis carried his service with honor throughout his life. His time in the military helped shape the values he lived by—discipline, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility to others.
Following his service, he built a remarkable career spanning more than 40 years. He was known for his outgoing personality and the genuine way he connected with everyone around him. Louis had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued, and he was truly loved by all who had the privilege of working with him. His presence brought warmth and laughter to the workplace, and he left a lasting impression on countless coworkers and friends.
Even after retirement, Louis never slowed down. He found joy in working in his yard and staying busy with his many small projects, always taking pride in doing things the right way. His hands were rarely still, and his quiet determination showed in everything he touched.
Above all, he cherished his family. He had a special love for his daughter, his granddaughters, and his great-grandchildren, whom he adored deeply. They were a constant source of pride and joy in his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He was a steady presence, a source of wisdom, and a man whose love was shown through his actions each and every day. His legacy lives on through the generations he helped shape and the many lives he touched.
He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Paxton; his daughter, Traci Parker, and son-in-law, Greg Parker; his granddaughters, Bridgette Parker and Peyton Parker; his great-grandchildren, Lakelin Parker, Briella McRae, and Tatum McRae; his brother, Garland Lambert, and sister-in-law, Vickey Lambert; as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
He will be deeply missed and forever an inspiration to those who looked up to him. A memorial service for Mr. Paxton will be held on April 28 at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Paxton family and asks that you remember them all in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
