Mr. Louis Mckinley Carroll Sr

Louis M. Carroll, Sr., 50 of Fruitland Park, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 in McHenry. Louis was born November 19, 1966 in Biloxi, MS, the youngest of three children to George Sr. and Geraldine Carroll. He grew up in the Ocean Springs area, and made his home in Forrest county. Louis made a career as a carpenter and heavy equipment operator. In his spare time, he loved to ride his Harley, and enjoyed working on Toyotas as well. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Louis is survived by his sons, Louis M. Jr. and Cody M. Carroll, and his parents, George Sr. and Geraldine Carroll; his brother, George E. Carroll, Jr. (Stacy), and his sister, Leslie M. Bates (Eddie), all of Saucier; three nieces, Kimberly Kahl, Brittany Trosclair, and Brandie Bates; three nephews, Christopher Carroll, Brandon and Braxton Bates; two great nieces, Carly Kahl and Addison Hinton, and two great nephews, Colby Kahl and Austin Carroll, and numerous other friends and extended family. He was preceded by his grandparents, Roosevelt & Bessie Carroll, and Granville & Alice Phillips. The family wishes to extend special and heartfelt thanks to Kelly and Frankie Carroll for standing beside them; Kimberly Kahl and Dr. Robert Kimber for all their love and support through such a trying time; Bro. Allan Smith and Ms. Maxine Glidewell for their daily devotions and support; Cheri Ladner and Gary Glidewell for all the love they could possibly have shown one man, and to Rev. Barney O'Neal and the Ramsey Creek Baptist Church family for their love and support coupled with many prayers and blessings. We certainly could not have done this without you all. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Ramsey Creek Baptist Church, with interment following at the Carroll Family Cemetery. Louis would like everyone to remember, "We gonna ride again." Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Carroll family in their time of need.
