Lori Ann (Holliman) Goekler

Lori Ann Holliman Goekler passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, in New Orleans, LA, at the age of 62 surrounded by her loved ones. Born on December 12, 1962, in Gulfport, MS, Lori had strength and resilience throughout her life, touching the hearts of those around her.

She was the second daughter of Grady Holliman and Effie Mitchell, both of whom preceded her in death, as did her beloved sister, Lynn Gay Watters.

Lori leaves behind her caring and loving husband of 40 years, Billy Wayne Goekler. Lori's legacy continues through her two daughters, Shannon Lynn Goekler McKlveen (Kisa) and Jennifer Nicole Goekler Miller (Chris).

She is also survived by her eight grandchildren—Kaitlyn Brewer, Natalya Bailey, Noah Bailey, Trinton Brewer, Natalie Miller, Zoey Brewer, Rileigh Miller, and Kayden McKlveen, her two sisters Pamela Mitchell, Mary Mitchell and several nieces and nephews, who were all dearly loved.

Lori always believed in others and touched countless lives. She managed people with tough love and compassion.  She was a firm believer in leading by example.

Lori was a veracious reader, loved classic rock and country music. She enjoyed dancing and ocean breezes. Lori loved to play billiards and had several tournament trophies with first place wins.

Lori's presence will be profoundly missed by her family, her friends, and all who were blessed to have known her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, an adored grandmother, and a true friend.   Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Goekler Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
