Linda Lou Peel of Lucedale, a cherished grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, passed away on July 27, 2023. Born on December 20, 1951, to the late William and Avery Sumrall. Linda was a beloved cashier and a staple of her community. She was widely known for her love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those in her life. Linda's adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, and she had a knack for getting things done. Her talents extended beyond the ordinary, as she possessed a unique gift for fixing not only clothes but people's lives. She welcomed anyone to her table with open arms and loved preparing delicious meals for her family. Generosity and kindness were at the core of Linda's being. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. However, if you preferred weak coffee, it was best not to join her in the morning! Left to cherish her memories is her loving daughter, Leona Fairley; grandchildren, Colein Holder and Joseph Blake Fairley; great-grandchildren; Miley Fairley, Eden Fairley, Owen Fairley, Violet Fairley, Aniyah Holder, and Avery holder; sisters, Evelyne Havard, Betty Jo Parker, and Mack Pierce.
