Mrs. Linda Diane Sullivan

Mrs. Linda Diane Sullivan, 58, went home to be with the Lord Thursday evening, surrounded by her family at her home in Poplarville. She was born April 6, 1960 in Hinds county, MS, the daughter of James and Betty (Goodman) Sprayberry. Linda was the youngest of four children, and grew up a Southern lady in Collins, MS. She married David Sullivan, and they made their home in Mt. Olive, eventually moving to Poplarville. Linda a homemaker who loved being a mother and grandmother, and was devoted and dedicated to her children, family, friends, and above all, God. She gave her heart to the Lord on March 8, 1992, and was a faithful member of North Spoon Baptist Church. Her firm foundation of faith and belief in the Lord helped her through this brief illness, and ultimately gave her peace. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whose life she touched. Linda was preceded by her parents, James & Betty Sprayberry, and a brother, Mike Sprayberry. She leaves a legacy of: her husband of 34 years, David; her children: one daughter, Kayla (Mark) Smith, and sons Randy (Jan) Tanner and Adam (Jessalyn) Sullivan; siblings: a brother, John (Becky) Sprayberry, and a sister, Debbie (Jim) Eubanks; eight grandchildren: John (Angel), Ashley (Brian), Austin (Sierra), Ely, Amberly, Kylie, Ryker, and Eloise, with baby Cullen due in February; fourteen great-grands, and four great-great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Nancy Sprayberry, along with numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 4 until 8 pm, and Tuesday morning from 9 until 10am, at North Spoon Baptist Church Tabernacle. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
