Linda Faye Lott, 75, of Saucier, Mississippi, was eternally healed on February 26, 2025, surrounded by the ones she loved, in the comfort of her home. Linda was born on July 1, 1949, in Mobile, Alabama to her parents Ralph Alexander and Carline Ruby (Roach) Moseley. Linda loved gardening and tending to her flowers. Her house was full of Fenton glass and depression glass from various flea markets that she loved pilfering through. Linda was a collector of all things, she had an eye for trinkets that most would have considered junk. Above all else, Linda cherished the time spent with her family and she loved them "more than they deserved". From cooking to traveling, Linda loved taking care of the ones she loved the most, and of course, keeping them in line. In March of 1967, Linda would meet the love of her life, Jimmie Lott, on a blind date, while Jimmie was stationed in Pensacola, serving in the U.S. Navy, where they watched the movie Georgia Girl. In just three short months, Linda and Jimmie would marry and spend the next fifty-eight years laughing and just "having a good time" together. Linda was known for her rich southern accent. She and Jimmie moved to the West Coast after Jimmie returned from Vietnam, and everyone she met, loved to listen to her talk. Moving back to Mississippi in 1969, Linda and Jimmie would bring two boys into the world, giving Linda the greatest title of all, Mom. Linda and Jimmie raised their family and were proud members of Robinwood Baptist Church, where they enjoyed serving the Lord. She would work and retire from Keesler Air Force Base as the Civilian Chief of Personnel. Linda always made sure her family knew, she loved them "harder than thunder can bump a stump". Linda is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Moseley; her mother, Carline Dearchs; one sister-in-law, Peggy Moseley; and one brother Ralph Alexander Moseley, Jr. Left to cherish the "thunder bumpin" love she gave, her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Jimmie Davis Lott, Jr.; their two boys, Greg Lott and his wife Shannon, and Stephen Lott and his wife Dana; her beloved grandchildren, Hayley Streams and husband Michael, Matthew Lott, Hannah Morgan, Katelyn Lott, Emmalee Lott, and Hunter Lott; her great-grandkids, Ella Streams and "Little Bubba" Ezra Streams, Kolston Lott, and Annalynn Lott; her three brothers, Ronald Moseley, Jack Moseley and wife Tina, and Claude Dearchs; her step-father, Marvin Dearchs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Services for Linda will be held in a few weeks at Robinwood Baptist Church. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Lott family during this time and would ask that you remember Mr. Jimmie and their family in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
