Mrs. Linda Joyce Jones

Mrs. Linda Joyce Jones, 66 of Perkinston, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Linda Joyce will be remembered as a loving woman, who spent her life taking care of others. She cared for her mother, mother-in-law, and siblings in their times of need. In her free time, she enjoyed visiting the coastal casinos, especially Boomtown in Biloxi. Linda Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Cecil David Jones of Perkinston; seven siblings: Delta Richards (Bruce), Bobby C. Morgan, and Sam Morgan, all of Biloxi; Sharolyn "Lucy" Nagy, Connie McGinley (Jeff), and Frank Morgan, Jr. (Angie), all of Ocean Springs; and Fred "Bo" Weems (Janet) of the Latimer community; her "4-legged child", 'Little Bit'; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews as well, all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Clement Weems, Jr., her step-father, Franklin D. Morgan, and her mother, Carmelita Morgan; and 5 siblings: Paulette Weems, Wilford J. Morgan, Sandra Mullins, Robin K. Morgan, and Morris W. Morgan. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Linda Joyce will be cremated, and the family has set a Celebration of Life in her honor for Friday evening, August 5th, 2016, located at her sister Lucy's residence, 13728 Puerto Drive in Ocean Springs. They welcome those whose lives' she touched to come remember Linda Joyce. Her cremains will be interred on Saturday morning, with a graveside service at the Old Biloxi Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to have served the Jones' family in their time of need.
