Linda Karen Inman, age 68, passed away on January 3, 2020. She was the oldest born to Maxwell and Mary (House) Inman on June 3, 1951. She is preceded by her parents and nephew, Kevin Seals. Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her siblings, Susan (Ronnie) Seals, Michael W. Inman and Mark (Kim) Inman; nieces and nephews, Kristy Kennedy, Michael Inman, Deon Inman and Lauren Labrazza along with extended family and friends. While Linda didn’t have any children of her own, at age 15 after her mother was in a car accident, she assumed the role of “mom” to her siblings. She made a career as a basketball coach, taking her team to the state championships. Over those years, Linda helped shape the lives of many young women, giving them a good foundation for life. Later, she became a substance abuse counselor continuing to change lives. Linda had a giving spirit and enjoyed family time. She will be missed beyond measure and forever remain in our hearts. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church Carriere, from 12 to 2 pm. Funeral service will be at 2 pm with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
