Graveside services for Mr. Leon Elton Fairley will be held at 3pm Friday, August 14, 2026, at Benndale Church of God Cemetery on Hwy 57 in Benndale, MS. Rev. Haskel Rhodes will officiate.

Leon Elton Fairley, 73, passed peacefully at Lakeview Nursing Home in Gulfport, MS on August 12, 2026. Elton was born February 11, 1953. He was the son of Leon and Versie Byrd Fairley.

Survivors include his wife: Brenda Fairley; Sister, Retha (Haskel) Rhodes; Daughter, Rebekah Fairley Morrison;

Son, Richard Fairley; grandchildren, Kassidi Bourgeois, Nikolas Bourgeois and Realynn Fairley. Bonus son, Joel Hartfield. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Leon Elton Fairley is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Versie Byrd Fairley; Brother, Colon Fairley; Sister, Lorraine Henderson; Grandson, Tilor Foster.
