Lelia Fronie (Herrin) Eley

Heaven gained another angel on December 12, 2020; Lelia Fronie Eley, 86 years young, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 2, 1934 to Elie and Nancy Herrin. She is preceded in death by 2 husbands, Hubert Donald and L.E. Eley; her daughter, Norma Donald; her son, Kenneth Donald and son in law, John Ravoira. Lelia leaves behind a legacy of family, daughters and son in law, Diane Malone, Peggy Ravoira, and Theresa and Tommy Doherty; sons and daughters in law, Danny and Virginia Donald, Charles Donald, Joey Eley and Missy Donald; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lelia was one of a kind. She always had a smile that she was willing to give and love for everyone to share. Her love of dancing, riding on the beach, and watching old western movies was nothing close to comparison for her devotion to her family. Lelia was super woman as far as her family is concerned. She was widowed at a young age and determined to take care her children and she succeeded. She instilled values and a sense of purpose in her children. She taught them by example to have a strong character and compassion for others. Her dream vacation was to go to the Grand Ole Opera, which she got to do in July of 2018. The memories that she leaves behind will be cherished by all those that knew her. While Lelia’s family will miss her beyond words they are comforted to know that when the roll is called up yonder she will be waiting for them in Heaven. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Trinity Funeral Services. Bro. Wayne Flurry will officiate the funeral services at Trinity Funeral Services on Thursday, December 18 in the chapel at 11:30 am. Due to COVID-19, interment will be private at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Per the family’s request face masks must be worn at the services.
