Lawrence Junior Smith

Lawrence Junior Smith, age 74, of Saucier, passed away on May 24, 2020 at Garden Park Medical Center.  Lawrence was born on July 2, 1945 to Lawrence and Josephine (Bates) Smith.  Anyone who knew Lawrence consider him to be a great person and an even a better man.  He was a hard-working truck driver, who was good and fair to anyone that knew him, especially animals.  Lawrence had a soft spot for dogs.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Josephine Smith; wife, Minnie Mae Smith and his sister, Joanne Busby.  Left to cherish his memories is his son, Lawrence Foster Smith; cousin, Mary Bursell; special niece, Teresa Busby; his caregiver who was like a son; Juan (Genie) Rivera and two young men who had a mutual respect and loved Mr. Lawrence dearly, Dewayne Rivera and Jonathan Pierce along with extended family and friends  A memorial service for Mr. Smith is being planned for a later date.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Lawrence and asks that you keep his family in your prayers over the coming days.
