Laura Michelle (Stanfield) Feasel

Laura Michelle Feasel, just 49 years young, lost her battle with cancer on February 15, 2024 at her home in Picayune, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Alabama on October 06, 1974, the daughter of David Sherrial and Pamela Loretta (Castenedo) Stanfield. Laura grew up in the Bay St. Louis area where she enjoyed hanging out with her friends. Laura was a social butterfly coming up, making many friends along the way. She attended Bay St. Louis schools, graduating with the Tiger Class of 1993. Laura always had a caring heart for others, so it's no surprise that she spent her life as a care giver, taking care of people. She has called Picayune home for the past several years and spent the last couple of those battling cancer. Laura fought valiantly despite the odds being stacked against her from the start, because that's who she was. Laura was a sweet, kind, and funny lady to those who truly knew her. She was a tad on the shy side, but would warm up to you once she got to know you. In her spare time she really enjoyed Tik-Tok, mainly watching but also making a few videos as well. She is fondly remembered as a very loving sister, wife and soul mate to Mike, mother, and trusted friend to so many, who will be forever loved and missed. Laura was preceded in death by her parents David and Pamela Stanfield. Left to cherish her memories are: her devoted husband of more than 12 years, Mike; her children: Ashley (Brian) Stanfield, Alicia Feasel, and Ashley Feasel; and her sisters Ramona (Ronnie) Penton of Bay St. Louis and Danielle Stanfield of the Necaise community, along with numerous extended family members and more friends that you can imagine. Her final wishes were to be cremated, which her family is honoring. A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held at a later date.
