Larry "Donnie" Wall, born on December 20, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on April 20, 2026. He was a man whose life was deeply rooted in simplicity, love, and an unyielding passion for the outdoors. Larry’s existence was a testament to the joy found in nature, the warmth of family, and the satisfaction of hard work and dedication.

An avid outdoorsman, Larry’s life was filled with the pursuits that brought him immense happiness — hunting and gardening were among his greatest loves. These activities not only connected him to the natural world but also allowed him to cultivate patience, precision, and a profound respect for life. Beyond his outdoor passions, Larry was a gifted cook, bringing the same enthusiasm and skill to the kitchen as he did to the fields and gardens, delighting family and friends with homemade meals born of his dedication and creativity.

Larry’s personality was truly one of a kind. Known for his fun-loving spirit, he engaged everyone around him with a lightheartedness and constant sense of humor. His playful nature and ability to joke readily with anyone made him a cherished companion and a source of joy to many. Above all, Larry was a devoted husband, steadfastly by the side of his beloved wife, Debra Wall, for over 40 years, exemplifying unwavering commitment and care.

As a father, Larry was the finest example one could hope for. He nurtured and guided his children and great-grandchildren with love and strength. Jennifer (Shane) Warton, his daughter, and Nicholas (Amanda) Wall, his son, carry forward his legacy and values. His affection extended through the generations to his grandchildren Kaleigh Warton, Maguire Warton, Addison Wall, and Aubrey Wall, and his great-grandchild, Ryatt Robinson, who all knew the warmth of his presence.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Larry Wall Sr., mother Lois Wall, and siblings Richard Wall, Charlotte Costine, and Marion "Andy" Wall. He is survived by his loving sisters Linda Rizzo and Connie (Jerry) Grass, who, along with family and close friends like Paul Lemon, continue to honor his memory. In addition to his human family, Larry found companionship and solace in Duke, his faithful companion, who stood by him through life’s many seasons.
