Larry Edward Treadway Sr.

Larry Edward Treadway Sr. age 65, passed away on October 31, 2022 in Poplarville, MS surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born on November 11, 1956 in Russellville, Alabama. Larry was born in Alabama, but he grew up in Buras, Louisiana after his father moved there to work in the oil fields. While in Louisiana in 1982 he met the love of his life and future wife, Sheila Ann Martin. Larry and Shelia were married for 37 years and had two children. Larry worked hard in the oil fields like his father to support his family before becoming a caretaker of land for the Demmas Family. Larry was also a wonderful family man that loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also liked to hunt, fish, spend time on the lake, and he was a great cook that made some of the best Gumbo ever. Larry was a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grand father, and friend to many he will be missed dearly. Larry is preceded by his, Parents and one brother, George Dale Treadway. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Sheila Treadway of Poplarville, MS; children, Latisha (Heath) Johnson of Poplarville, MS, and Larry Treadway Jr. of South Carolina; grandchildren, DeAnna (Lee) Greer of Purvis, MS, Seth Johnson of Poplarville, MS, Jacklyn Treadway, and Haley Treadway of South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Alanna Johnson and Hadley Grace Greer of Purvis, MS. Also left to cherish his memories are his best friend and pet, Susie and numerous nieces and nephews.
