Obituary

Kristina Gail Carver, born on December 28, 1980, in Dunkirk, New York, passed away tragically on March 27, 2026, in Wiggins, Mississippi, at the age of 45. Her departure leaves an indelible void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her—a void filled with memories of a woman whose spirit was as fierce as it was tender.

Kristina was known as "mama’s baby", her fiery spirit evident from the start. Her mother was so convinced she would be a boy, yet she was a force—spitting fire, unafraid, and always ready to stand strong for those she cherished. Her heart knew no limits; no one on earth could claim a bigger, more generous heart than Kris. She was a helper in the truest sense of the word, selflessly reaching out not only to her loved ones but to strangers as well. Her kindness was boundless, her willingness to check on her mom and dad a testament to the unwavering love and care she carried within her.

Kris never met a stranger. Her ability to converse and connect with anyone, anywhere, was one of her most remarkable traits. Fearless in her approach to life, she would talk and engage openly, bringing light and comfort into every room she entered. She fought hard for her family and friends, loving fiercely and defending passionately. She was a pillar of strength, a beacon of warmth, and a comforting presence who could lift spirits, without even trying.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Ariel Chamblee, a testament to her enduring love and legacy; her devoted parents, William and Bertha Cavin; and her mother-in-law, Alda Faye, who all felt the profound impact of Kris’s kindness and warmth.

In mourning Kristina’s untimely passing, we also remember her daughters Emley and Sarabeth Chamblee, who preceded her in death, as well as her beloved sisters, Angie Womack and Amy Hester, and her fiancé, Ryan Peterson. Their loss alongside hers deepens the sorrow felt by all who knew this extraordinary woman.

Kristina Gail Carver’s life was one marked by love, courage, and an unwavering commitment to others. Though her physical presence has left us, the fire she carried within will continue to burn brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She taught us all how to live boldly, love fiercely, and stand unyielding, no matter the trials faced.

Her journey may have ended far too soon, but the legacy of her heart—so big, so fierce, and so beautiful—remains with us always. Rest in peace, dear Kristina. You are deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
