Obituary

Kristian Aaron Smith, 30, passed away on October 25, 2026, in Foley, Alabama. Born on December 6, 1995, in Picayune, Mississippi, to Curt Smith and April Darlene Patterson Wilde, Kristian was a bright light in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Kristian was a hard worker with a big heart, a bubbly personality, and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved making people laugh, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, playing softball, listening to music, or spending summer days at his favorite spot on the Wolfe River known as Black Dirt, Kristian found happiness in the simple moments and the people beside him.

His faith was an important part of his life. Through his Christian outreach, Kristian shared his testimony, spread the Word of God, and encouraged others along their journeys. He had a genuine desire to help people and make a difference in their lives. Though his time here was far too short, Kristian's laughter, kindness, faith, and love for others will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Kristian was a young man with a big heart, a strong faith, and so much love to give. The lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the faith he carried will never be forgotten.

Kristian was preceded in death by his beloved parents, April Darlene Wilde and Curt Smith, and his grandmother, Connie Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving sisters, Joy Hoda, Lacie (Steven) Shaw, and Destiny (Joey) Ford; his brother, Little Jerry Smith; his cherished nieces, Hanna, Annah, Kinsley, Naomi, and Stella; his nephews, Jaxon, Jake, and Malachi; his grandfather, Jerry Smith; his uncle, TJ Smith; and many other beloved family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Smith family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
