Kirby Jase Ladner, 53 and a life-long resident of Pass Christian, passed away Sunday afternoon at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport. Born September 28, 1967 in Gulfport, Kirby was the fourth of six children to Cleyton and Ella Mae (Shavers) Ladner. He graduated from Pass Christian High School with the Class of 1985. He was a "free spirited" man that loved his family dearly. Kirby taught his daughters so much about the things in life, including how to drive, ride horses and much more. He loved running the roads with "Birdman" and Jarren. He will always be remembered as a loving brother, father and grandfather, that loved spending as much time with his kids and grandchildren as he could. A selfless father and trusted friend, he will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memories are: his three daughters, Raegan Ladner, Chelse Ladner and Bailey (Brennan) Hoda, all of Pass Christian; his parents, Cleyton and Ella Mae Ladner, one sister, Regina (Brian) Scarbrough and brothers Timmy (Marcie), Stacy (Deanne) and Kirk "Birdman" (Christie) Ladner, all of the Pass, and Laney (Angela) Ladner of Gulfport. Kirby leaves a legacy of six grandchildren: Cale, Haddy, Revyn, Harper, Breyton and Bailynn; with his special nephew and "Road Dawg", Jarren Lizana, along with numerous extended family, friends and neighbors through the years. It was Kirby's wishes to be cremated, which his family is honoring. The family has set a Celebration of Life for Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM, at the Harrison County Storm Shelter building, located at 15038 County Farm Road in Gulfport. Everyone is invited to come reminisce and share fond memories. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Ladner family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
