Kerth Edwin (Pete) Northrop

Kerth Edwin Northrop (Pete), 66, passed away on December 02, 2022, in Lizana, MS.  Pete was born on October 06, 1956, in Gulfport, MS to Laden and Dorothy Northrop. Pete was raised in the Lizana Community in the Baptist faith.  After high school, he joined the local pipefitters union as an apprentice, later in his career he took a traveling job as an environmental and hazardous waste cleanup supervisor. He loved the outdoors, he was a true country gentleman, he enjoyed deer and squirrel hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed Jeep riding and traveling around the country on road trips with his wife. Pete was a hard worker, but he also knew how to have fun, he was the life of the party wherever he went and could always make people smile.  He had a kind and caring personality and never met a stranger, he would help anyone in need.  His family will miss him on the annual fishing trips with his brothers and the Saints game every Sunday on their back porch. Pete was the glue that held his family together and his life has touched so many, he will be forever cherished. Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Laden and Dorothy (Dot) Craig Northrop; his twin brother Keith (Bully) Northrop, brothers George “Dub” Northrop, Donnie Boy Northrop, and Luke Northrop; and one sister Josephine (Jody) Self. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Linda Parrish Northrop; siblings Ronnie (Tina) Northrop, Kernie (Dianne) Northrop, Alton (Carol) Northrop, Joann Starrett, Jean (Bud) Rogers, and Don (Linda) Self; children Brian (Brandi) Northrop, Missy Williams, Kristen (Jimmy) Northrop, Lee (Crystal) Bosarge; grandchildren, Austin (Brittany), Alyssa (Philip), Erik, Breanna, Aaron, Gracen, Hayes, Zoie, Jaden, Hunter, Dylan, Emma, Logan, and Mckenzie. Also left to cherish his memories is one great granddaughter, Baylor, and numerous nieces and nephews.
