Kenneth Ralph Petty, 61 of Saucier, passed away Monday, Dec. 25th in Perkinston, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 27, 1956 in Florence, OR, the oldest of 2 children to Ralph & Frankie Petty. Ken grew up in Malvern, AR, and came to love the outdoors, enjoying trapping and trailing so much that he is affectionately known as "Trail". He became a multitalented artist, including a renowned 2nd generation knife maker, a writer, and artist. He will be sadly missed by all the lives he touched. Trail was preceded by his parents, Ralph Murphy and Frankie Lee Davee Petty of Malvern, AR, and wife Gail Eubanks Petty of West Point, MS. He is survived by his children: Austin (Cory) Latham of Port Allen, LA, Dana Gail Petty of Amory, MS, and Beth (Anthony) Cummings of West Point; grandkids Gabriel Latham, Levi Petty, Jennifer Cook, Jake Mathis, and Bradley and John Cummings; 2 great-grands, one sister, Pam Petty of Malvern, AR; his lifemate Ms. Suzi Isley of Saucier, and countless friends. A memorial service for Trail will be planned soon as a celebration of life for this extraordinary man. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Petty family in their time of need.
