Kenneth Larry Slade

Kenneth Larry Slade, 73, passed away on March 14, 2023 in Lumberton, MS. He was born on October 18, 1949 in Hattiesburg, MS to Kenneth and Alma Lois Young Slade. Kenneth was an old fashion Country man that believed in working hard for his family's future. He was a Master Auto Paint Technician that took pride in everything he did. He instilled a dauntless work ethic into his children, grandchildren, and anyone he took under his wing. Everyone appreciated all the love and wisdom he bestowed on those he loved. Kenneth might have been a workaholic, but he knew how to have fun, he had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes to make light of any situation. He was a wonderful, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many that will be missed dearly. Kenneth is preceded by his parents, Kenneth and Alma Slade and one brother and two sisters. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Debbie Slade; children, Nikky (Thresa) Slade, Chris Slade, Corey Slade, Chance Slade, Sheryl (Wade) Slade, Carol Gales, Carla (Paul) Games, Randall Smith, and Carlton; grandchildren; Cameron Slade, Kimberly Slade, Cody Slade, Brandon Slade, Dustin Slade, Ashley Stringer, and Brandy Benson; Great-grandchildren, Jaxsen Slade, Bristyl Slade, Everleigh Slade, Hadleigh Slade, Brielle, and Hunter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
