Kelvin Kent Ladner, Sr., 67, went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2022 at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport surrounded by his wife and children. Kelvin was born on December 17, 1954 in Poplarville, to Clyde and Sylvia Ladner and was raised and lived in Saucier, MS, where he enjoyed fishing, riding horses (back in the day), spending time with his family and grandchildren, serving the Lord and going to church. After High school he met the love of his life and wife, Frances Ladner and they had three lovely children together. Kelvin worked for Teledyne Irby Steel for 20 years before he retired. After retirement he decided to go back to work as a Truck driver. He was lucky enough to have worked and train two of his own children that followed in his footsteps in whom he was so proud of. Kelvin loved taking short road trips with his son, watching his daughters work in the yard and watching his grandkids play in the yard. Just a few weeks before he got sick, he got to give away his baby girl in marriage in whom he was also so very proud of. He was a very special man that loved his family and the Lord. He was a very special father and grandfather and he had nicknames for every one of his kids and grandkids, Mojo, Coon, Peep, Scooby, Hattie Mae, Porkchop, Tickerbug, Rye Rye, Pai Pai , My My and Peanut. Every year for Easter he would have a surprise crawfish bowl party for his wife France’s birthday. Kelvin was a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many that will be missed dearly. Kelvin is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Sylvia Ladner. Kelvin is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances Ladner; children, Kelvin (Nancy) Ladner Jr., Cristine Dangler, and Brianna (Shane) Havard; grandchildren, Cody (Tasha) Ladner, Courtney Ladner, Dustin (Trinity) Dangler, Kyntleigh Ladner, and Ryleigh Ladner; great-grandchildren, Mya Brashears, Paityn Brooks, Dustin Dangler Jr.; all of Saucier.
