Mr. Kelly Lane Chamblee, 51 of Gulfport, passed away unexpectedly while working on the island of Anguilla. Kelly was born July 8, 1967 in Atlanta, Texas, one of two sons to Linda Mayfield and Larry Chamblee. He grew up an outgoing and funny young man that loved nothing more than to crack a good joke. After graduating high school and taking some college classes, Kelly enjoyed carpentry and building, so he made a career in construction. He had been working as a superintendent with DCK World Wide doing reconstruction and rebuilding in the Virgin Islands after the hurricanes. He is remembered as a very good, honest man who would do anything for anybody. An avid LSU and New Orleans Saints fan, he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Kelly is survived by the love of his life of 23 years, Rebecca Madison, daughter Jaime (Nick) Gilliam, son Reese Chamblee. His father and step-mom Larry and Linda Chamblee, Mother and step-dad, Linda and Jerry Caldwell, brother, Larry Joe Chamblee. Kelly was due to be a Paw-Paw for the first time in March, to someone that he would have no doubt spoiled beyond measure, his future granddaughter, Violet. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Trinity Funeral Services from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with funeral service at 1:00pm. Internment will follow at Finley Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services are honored to help the family through this difficult time. Please keep Becky and the entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
