Kayden Lavelle Stuart, 9 months and 21 days, was welcomed in the arms of Jesus, Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Kayden was born August 14, 2023, to his parents Kevin Stuart and Christina Davis, in Jackson, MS. Kayden spent his sweet little life in the hospital undergoing medical treatment with the goal of getting him home. However, God had different plans for sweet Kayden and He healed him in a way that a hospital never could. Every day that Kayden grew, so did his smile and his laugh. Despite the medical odds stacked against him, Kayden was the happiest baby and stole the hearts of all who knew him. Kayden loved to watch cartoons, especially Ms. Rachel. He loved spending the days with his momma and daddy, cuddling and stealing all the sweet sugars. There was never a shortage of love when it came to Kayden. One thing was for sure, Kayden was LOVED and his life was cherished here on earth. Kayden will be immensely missed by his momma and daddy, as there will always be a special place left in their hearts for him. Kayden is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bobby Joe Stuart, and his maternal great-grandfather Victor Skaggs. Left to cherish every day spent with Kayden, his momma Christina Davis and his daddy Kevin Stuart; four sisters Rebecca (Eric Blackburn) Stuart, Christin Stuart, Chanda Calcote, and Naomi Stuart; maternal great-grandmother, Linda Skaggs; maternal grandparents, Kim and Jimmy Davis; paternal grandmother Sandra Stuart; two aunts, Tammy Cady and Lori Simpson; three uncles, Arron Davis, Bobby Dale (Rachel) Stuart, and Scott (Christopher) Chaparro; two nephews Samuel Sellers and Colton Blackburn; and one niece, Ava Blackburn. Christina and Kevin would like to give a huge thank you to the hospital staff and social workers that took such great care of Kayden and were with them every step of the way. Services for Kayden will be Saturday, June 8, 2024, beginning at 2:00 pm for a visitation and a service to begin at 3:00 pm, at Central Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 27 Central Church Road, Purvis, MS 39475. Trinity Services is honored to serve the Stuart family during this time and would ask that you remember Christina and Kevin over the coming days ahead.
