Katie Vanessa Wood

Katie Vanessa Wood, 54, of Lucedale, MS, (formerly of Summerville, GA) passed away on January 28th of natural causes. Mrs. Wood was a native of Summerville, GA, and worked as a CNA for much of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Burke, and her father, George Burke. She is survived by her sons, Cory Reynolds and Wesley (Louann) Blalock; brother Chris Burke; and nieces Ashley Burke and Deanna Brown. Trinity Funeral Services of McHenry, MS is honored to serve the Wood’s Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these challenging times. A private service is to be held at a later date.
