Katherine Ann Daniels, 67, beloved spouse, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed peacefully surrounded by her family into the arms of her Lord and Savior on June 23, 2026 as her time on this side of Heaven came to an end. She lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service to others, leaving a legacy that will be cherished for generations.

She was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her beloved daughter, Misty Daniels; her parents, Albert Sr. and Marlene Daniels; her grandparents, Jay and Rosie Daniels and Ares Hoda, Sr. and Catherine Cameron; and a heavenly host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and dear friends who had gone before her.

Left to cherish the love she so freely gave are her devoted spouse of over 50 years L.B. "Coon" Ladner, Jr., her daughter Michelle Cuevas (Wayne), granddaughters Whitney Cuevas (Woodie), Cassidy Bourgeois (Cody), Madyson Daniels, Treylea Randall (Colby) and McKalea Randall (Ashley), great grandchildren Treyson, Misten and Braelyn Bourgeois, Maverick and Mireya Chabaud, and Colstyn and Tritt Oliver. She is also survived by her siblings Albert Daniels Jr. (Lillian), Donna Davis, Melissa Guillot, Melinda Rose (Steve), Stevie Daniels (Kristie), Rhonda Tyler, Wanda Flowers (Anthony) and Randy Daniels (Angela) along with an extended massive family of nieces, nephews and close friends.

A natural caregiver, she dedicated her life to raising and guiding three generations with unwavering love, compassion, and wisdom. She found joy in gardening, canning, family days filled with games of cards, dice, dominoes and cornhole, her and Coon's weekly Walmart trip, family cookouts and gatherings, camping, never missing a chance to cruise, fly away or road trip to a new destination, enjoying the wildlife from her porch where she also delighted in conversations with all visitors!

More than anything, her greatest joy was her family, and she never missed an opportunity to love, encourage, and care for those around her. Her home was always a place of love, laughter, and open arms, and everyone who knew her felt like family.

Those who knew her will remember not only her generous heart and unwavering faith but also the remarkable strength and courage she displayed throughout her battle. She faced every challenge with grace and determination. Though she will be deeply missed, her peaceful passing brought comfort to those who loved her, knowing she is in her eternal home finally free from pain and resting in the presence of her Lord and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated, with a private family service to be held.

Her family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude for compassion, care and support to Nate, Josh, Stephanie, Rachael and extended staff with Deaconness Hospice, Dr. Olivia Hightower, and to all that showered her and the family with support, prayers and love during her hard fought courageous battle.

Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Daniels family in thier time of need and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
