March 2, 1990 — September 13, 2021

Poplarville, MS

Katelyn Malissa Yoho or as everyone called her, “KK”, was born on March 2, 1990, in Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, MS. She passed away at Gulfport Memorial Hospital on September 13, 2021, age 31, due to covid-pneumonia. Katy attended St. Martin high school in her Hometown. She nannied for a close family friend’s daughter, along with assisting her sister and brother-in-law with her nieces and nephews. KK was one of the most amazing and kind-hearted souls to ever walk this earth. Her friends and family would describe her as empathetic, exuberant, high-spirited, and without a doubt, unique! She lit up every room she walked into. There are no words to describe the hole she leaves in her family’s hearts; she will be missed dearly by her loved ones and friends. She is survived by her parents, Kathy and Edward Yoho; sisters, Sarah Wilson and Renee Platt; her uncle, M.D. Slaughter; nieces and nephews, Chanlyn Yoho, Brayleigh Yoho, Bryson Wilson, and Shelby Wilson. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Yoho family through this difficult time. Please keep them in your prayers in the days to come. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 1:00PM-3:00PM at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry.
