Karen Joy Norman, 66, passed away peacefully, on February 24, 2024, in her home in McHenry, MS. Born on September 3, 1957, in Biloxi, MS to the late Alfred and Mary Foster. A true homebody, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, surrounded by those she loved. Her marriage of 35 years was a beautiful example of partnership and devotion. Karen lived for her husband and son, who were the center of her world, the light of her life. Karen's role as a mother was one she embraced with every ounce of her being. She was also a very loving aunt, her kindness and warmth leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of her nieces and nephews. Her love for animals shone brightly through her adoration for her dog, Rusty, and her affection for all dogs. Her home was a sanctuary for the small group of people she held dear, and she cherished the moments spent visiting her sister in Montana. The bonds of family were everything to Karen; she loved her family fiercely. She took immense pride in her father's memories, singing talents, and history. An old-school soul, Karen was the epitome of a caretaker. Often found playing melodies on the piano in her younger years or later in life collecting pig figurines, she found joy in the small things in life. She was a soft-spoken woman, never uttering a bad word. Her legacy is one of love and kindness that will be deeply missed. Preceded by her husband, Patrick W. Norman; parents, Alfred and Mary Foster; mother-in-law, Edith Mae Wilson; sisters, Sherry Bosarge and Dawn Rogers; brother, Larry Foster; niece, Alexis Bosarge. All these wonderful women have been a constant source of comfort to her and to the family.
