Kairel Ladner

Kairel Ladner, 77 of the Standard community, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2024.  Kairel, also known as Gravelhauler (his CB handle) by countless friends, loved his family and was a devoted proud Papa to his five grandchildren. He will be remembered as a well-liked avid hunter who was great at telling memorable stories about deer hunting, running dogs, quail hunting, his days in the Army, and baseball/softball, just to name a few. Kairel will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Kairel was proceeded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary “Kathy” Ladner, father, Curvis Ladner; mother, Edna Ladner; brothers, J.Q. Ladner, Kermit Ladner, Clinton Ladner, Gerald Ladner, and David Ladner; and sisters, Catherine “Cathy” Lee and Gladys Swilley. Left to cherish his memories is daughter, Kara Ladner Hays (Greg); son, Kade Ladner; granddaughters, Caitlin Hays, Kylie Ladner, Lily Hays, Kaiybree’ Ladner; grandson, Kyden Ladner; brother, Sherman Ladner (Lorilee); and a host of nieces and nephews.
