Juliet Louise Chace, 52, of Natchez, Ms, passed away peacefully at Adams County Nursing Center, on August 16, 2021. Born in Manhatten, New York, the seventh of nine children, to Gordon and Joyce Chace, on April 9, 1969. Growing up in New Milford, New Jersey, she played softball and loved to swim. Juliet graduated high school in 1987 and from there moved to Oregon where she completed four years of college, receiving her Bachelors Degree in food and beverage tourism. She later moved to Natchez, MS where she made her home and worked as a mixologist for the Eola Hotel. Juliet would receive a diagnosis of ovarian cancer in 2015 that she fought hard for six years. Despite her diagnosis she found a job she loved. She worked as a tour guide for the city of Natchez, MS, where she was able to share her bright smile and personality to those whose lives she touched daily. Juliet loved her children, grand children, and friends! So much she made it a point to remain close to them since receiving her diagnosis, insuring them as many memories as possible. She wasn't crazy! But she was a cat lady, in fact she had five of her own that she loved and considered them to be her children. Friends and family were important to her, she took those relationships very seriously, holding them all very close to her heart. Juliet was a sweet, generous, kind, and loving soul, and that is exactly how her family and friends will remember her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Joyce Chace and her sister, Susan Werner. Left to cherish her memories are: her only son, Matthew Nations of Natchez, MS; her sisters Patricia (Geoffrey) Saltzman of NY, Regina Chace of DE, Donna Corless of ID, Wendy Werner (Frank Cilliberti) of NJ, Christine Chace of CA and Margaret Chace of ID. Juliet leaves a legacy of two grandchildren, Chace and Evie Nations, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her final wishes were to be cremated, which her family has honored. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Chace family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
