Juanita A Oden, born November 8, 1929, in Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on August 9, 2026. She is preceded in death by husbands Kennie V. Smith, George W. Oden, and by a son, Phillip M. Smith. She leaves behind sons Kenneth (Kathy), Steve (Emily), and Larry (Angie), as well as three generations of grandchildren.

Known for her kindness, generosity, and devotion to God and family, she will be greatly missed.

She was smart, funny, and an excellent cook, with roast beef hash, fried apple pies, and fried okra always sure to bring back fond memories.

A celebration of life to be held at a later date.
