Joshua Mitchell Orr

Joshua Mitchell Orr, 39, of Purvis, MS., passed away on December 04, 2021, in Santa Monica, California. Joshua was born August 09, 1982, to Mitchell and Angela (Patrick) Orr in Basterop, Louisiana. Joshua would graduate from Camp Shelby and join the military directly after high school, where he would be medically discharged not long after. Joshua was a hard worker and had a love for carpentry, which he was good at. Joshua meant well and worked hard to fight and enjoy life, despite the hardships he faced over and over. He loved his momma and Mrs. Angela will miss him dearly, but rests knowing his burdens are gone and he is finally resting peacefully. Joshua is preceded in death by his father Michell Orr; his maternal grandmother Alma Patrick; and his sister Kassie Orr. Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother and stepdad Angela (Troy) Orr-Whiddon; his two boys Zackary Sutherland, who's currently serving in our military in North Carolina, and Landon Corley.
