Joshua Shannon Moore

Joshua Shannon Moore, a man of remarkable intelligence and skill, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024, in Wiggins, MS, at the age of 44. Born on November 12, 1979, in Hattiesburg, MS, Joshua was a lifelong resident of Mississippi, growing up in the close-knit community of Wiggins where he attended local schools and flourished. From his childhood through to adulthood, Joshua's love for the great outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing and hunting. He had an innate ability to cook and smoke each catch to perfection, sharing his culinary creations with friends and family who cherished his cooking as much as his company. His love for the water extended into his professional life, where he spent time doing commercial shrimping alongside his brother, Wesley. The brothers shared an unbreakable bond, born less than a year apart, they were not only siblings but also the best of friends and confidants. Joshua was known for his hands-on abilities and was a certified boilermaker and pipefitter. His colleagues respected him for his work ethic and his exceptional aptitude for numbers. He could solve complex problems with ease, and his intelligent approach to his craft earned him admiration in his field. Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Arnold Ray and Betty Ruth Moore; brothers, Johnathon (Joelynn) Moore and Wesley (Marbell) Moore; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
