Joseph William Richey Jr., fondly known as Joey, passed away on October 6, 2023 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi after a life vibrantly lived. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi on February 11, 1974, he was a beloved husband, father, and sibling whose jovial nature resonated within his family and community. Throughout his life, Joey brought humor and positivity into many households, excelling in the food service industry with unwavering commitment. He leaves behind an exemplary legacy of hard work, love, and laughter. Joey is survived by his wife April Richey, his children LeAnn Murphy, Joseph Richey III, his three sisters Melissa Maddox, Melony Yost, and Gussie White, and his brother Christopher Richey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Judith Richey. His fond laughter, humor, and the precious moments spent together will be etched in the hearts of his loved ones.
