Joseph Lee Brown

Joseph Lee Brown, 61, of Gulfport, MS. passed away on February 09, 2023, at his home. Joseph was born on July 21, 1951, in Gulfport, to his parents Billy Joe and Betty Lou (Ladner) Brown. Joseph was a kind soul who was always willing to help someone in need. He spent twenty-five years working for Mississippi Power before retiring. During his retirement, Joseph started his own crabbing business that was just big enough to keep him busy. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents Billy Joe and Betty Lou Brown. Left to cherish his memory are his children Elizabeth Ann Brown-Easterwood, Katherine Teresa Brown-Mitchell, Jolee Marie Brown, Robert Joseph Brown, Hannah Nicole Brown, and Kayleb Allen Brown; his siblings Brenda Elizabeth Necaise-Stover, Janice Marie Brown-Andrus, and Betty Jean Brown-Graham; and his grandchildren Jayden Elizabeth Easterwood, Josephine Marie Brown, Morgan Thomas Mitchell, Mark Joseph Mitchell, and Mary Katherine Mitchell.
