Johnnie Lou Davis

Johnnie Lou Davis, age 85, passed away on March 8, 2022. She was born on November 08, 1937 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late John And Thelma Morris. Johnnie was a kind and generous person that liked everyone she met. She was a wonderful homemaker that raised four lovely children that she adored and loved to spend time with. She was also a woman of strong faith and integrity that loved the lord and going to church. Johnnie was a great mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, she will be missed dearly. Johnnie is preceded by her loving husband, Ewell Woodrow Davis; parents, John and Thelma Morris; sister, Mary Ruth Morris lee; brothers, Olon Morris, Mitchell Morris, and Eldon Morris. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna (Ancial) Kirkland of Wiggins, MS, and Johnette Davis Spangler of Wiggins, MS; sons, Dennis and Mark Davis of Wiggins, MS; brother, Alton (Ree) Morris and her sister Helen Morris Brooks. A visitation will be held at Sandhill Baptist Church on March 12, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Lott Smith Cemetery.
