Joe "Stemwinder" Bradford, a cherished soul known for his unwavering sense of humor and dedication to Yahuah and his family, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at the age of 66. A native of Wiggins, MS, Joe was a man of many talents and an irreplaceable member of his community. Joe was born to the late Viola Bradford Young and Emanuel Bradford Sr. on May 18, 1958. His early life in Wiggins was filled with the love and camaraderie of a large and lively family. Joe was a graduate of Locker High School's class of '72 and extended his passion for mechanics and transport to a professional level, securing Truck Driving certifications from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC). In his professional life, Joe proudly served as a heavy equipment operator for the Mississippi National Guard. He spent approximately 15 years driving trucks in the logging industry, a job that echoed his love for big vehicles. Later, Joe continued his career journey with Howard Transportation. Known for his readiness to lend a hand, Joe took on side jobs, helping others until his retirement - exemplifying the heart of a truly selfless individual. Beyond his professional and familial commitments, Joe lived life with a zest that was contagious to all around him. He was an avid fisherman, a hobby that allowed for quiet reflection and joy. His hands were rarely still, often found working on cars or preparing for a hunting trip. Joe's spirit was infectious, and he was affectionately recognized as a full-time comedian within his circle. His laughter and stories will be missed but never forgotten. Joe Bradford's life was as grand and noble as the big trucks he loved to drive. His journey on this earth may have ended, but his legacy of his faith in Adoni, love, laughter, and kindness will forever cruise the roads of our hearts. He is preceded by his parents Emanuel and Viola Bradford. He is celebrated in memory by his beloved wife, Stacey Bradford; his son, Joseph Nathaniel Bradford; siblings Emanuel Bradford Jr., Eula Mae Rhodes, Willie E. Bradford, Katherine Ramsey, Vernell Milton, Thelma Lee Wallace, Robert Lee Bradford, Yvonne Bradford, Sonya Maxwell, and Tonya Woodward; his adoring grandchildren, Jaylen and Jivia; and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends who hold dear the times shared and lessons learned from Uncle Joe.
