Joann Marie Strawn

JoAnn Marie Strawn, age 74, passed away on May 27, 2025 in Perkinston, MS. She was born in Harahan, LA on October 10, 1950 to Delvin Joseph Delaune and Fannie Belle Delaune.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Levi) Hudspeth; her son, Thomas Everett; sister, Mary (Jerry) Ancar; granddaughters, Makayla and Christiana and 4 great-grandsons.

She was a great mother and one of the strongest women you would ever meet. She touched the lives of so many people in the community and was easy to become friends with. She was the perfect example of what a person should be in life. JoAnn was the wife of Stanley Strawn Sr. and was grateful to the Strawn Family. We are so grateful to have had JoAnn as a mother, fighter, hard worker, and a woman of compassion for all. You will be missed every day.
