Jo Ann (Turner) Mcmillan

Jo Ann McMillan, age 77, passed away July 16, 2019 at her home in Carthage. Jo Ann was born on Nov. 5, 1941 to Clyde and Girlie Turner. Jo Ann had a service heart. She volunteered for the Crisis Line and Fire and Rescue. She had a love for music, fishing and arts and crafts. She also had a talent when it came to sewing, often making special dresses or wedding dresses.  She worked for Caterpillar for 13 1/2 years as a Piston Machine Specialist.  Jo Ann will be missed by all who loved and knew her. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Girlie Turner; son, Leon Troutman and grandchild, Valesha. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Bill (Julie) Troutman, Lucy (Michael) Foster and Dawn McMillan; siblings, Clyde (Elizabeth) Turner, Faye Rayfield, Frances Morgan, Colin (Wilma) Turner and sister in law, Annette Turner; grandchildren, Leon, Tronia, Loren, Zayna, Kody, Christopher, LaGina, Steven, Jason, JaLeKa, Xeinia, Levi and Tylea; 15 great- grands and a host of extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the family during this difficult time and ask that you keep the family lifted up in prayers.
