Jo Nell (Key) Renfro

Jo Nell Renfro, 78, of Perkinston passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 4, 1942 to Robert Key and Mary Dorsett in Texas. Jo is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Charles Renfro; sister, Lettie Sin Clair; son, William Miller; daughters, Pamela Miller and Rebecca Marinello; grandson Joseph R. Trainor III and granddaughter Jennifer LeAnn Higgins. She is survived by her children, Gloria Jo Renfro Lang (David), Leonard Renfro (Shannon), James Higgins Jr. and Kimberly Trainor (Ray); siblings, Robert Wayne Key, James Martin, Eugene Key, Cecil Martin, Ann McKee, Shirley Cox, Vivian Roden and Charlotte Martin. Her hobbies in her younger years included cooking, baking, sewing, and music, while she was working her first job as a car hop/retail manager. She then met and married the love of her life, Charles Fenwick Renfro, on November 21, 1971. She always loved to help others when it was needed from volunteering at Feed my Sheep, helping set up at Helping Hands Ministry, to making cookies and pies to give to nursing homes. Jo Nell was a devoted Baptist and loved listening to Christian music and starting and attending bible studies. More than anything though, she loved her family and grandchildren and would give the shirt of her back to help anyone in need. Jo Nell will be missed beyond measure and is loved beyond.  A Memorial Service on November 25th at Red Creek Baptist Church in Wiggins from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the Renfro family during this difficult time and asks that you keep them in your prayers over the coming days.
