Mr. Jimmy Rayford White

Mr. Jimmy Rayford White, 68 of McHenry, passed away Thursday evening at his home off West McHenry Road. Jimmy was born March 26, 1950 in South Carolina, the son of James & Lettie Mae (Payton) White. As he grew up, he spent time between both states, graduating high school in SC, and attended community college. After school, he spent several years as a sheetrock finisher. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, visiting the casinos, and eventually got into antiques. Jimmy loved to buy and sell them, along with other things, both at home and on eBay. He also liked tinkering with and fixing small engines on mowers and other things. He is affectionately remembered as "a mean 'ol goat" that had a definite sweet side, although it seldom appeared. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jimmy was preceded by his parents, his brother Keith White Bush, and his sister, Phyllis Brockus. He is survived by: his life partner of 34 years, Tina Marie Barton; his daughters, Tricia Barnes and Dana White, and a sister, Linda Banks, all of South Carolina. He leaves two grandchildren, and several additional extended family and friends. Jimmy's wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring.
