He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Wiggins, MS where he served his Lord Jesus Christ throughtout his last days in his earthly vessel. Jimmy loved the company of his four legged companion, his "little doggy" Buddy. Jimmy had his struggles early on but gave them up to spend a life with Frances, he would always say that "he wouldn't be here today without her". He loved Frances dearly despite their ups and downs throughout their marriage, giving her the credit for his 20 years of sobriety. Jimmy is preceeded in death by his parents, Elsie and Lessie Weldon. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Frances (Boxx) Weldon. Jimmy's wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring.
