Mr. Jimmy Dean Pace

November 22, 1956 — June 30, 2016

Mr. Jimmy Dean Pace, 59, passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at his residence in McHenry, MS. Originally from Pascagoula, Jimmy enlisted in the United States Marine Corp right out of high school, serving 4 years in the early 70s near the end of the Vietnam War. After the military, he became a first class welder, working many years at Ingall's Shipbuilding. Jimmy was a fun-loving, jovial man, who always had a story to tell. He loved hunting, and living in the country, which goes along with his affinity for western movies, country music, and his dogs. His other passion was shooting pool, and he spent around 20 years as an active member of the MS Gulf Coast Billiards Association. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving father and grandfather, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Beth Burdeshaw; his son, Jake Pace, and his daughter, Jamie Lykins (son in law, Jason) both of Long Beach, MS; his 3 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Joshua Barker, Emma Barker, and Annabelle Lynn Pace, all of Long Beach; and by his kids with 4 legs, Booger, Maybelle, Max, Snickers, and Phoebe. He was preceded in death by his father, Marcus Pace of Pascagoula, and his mother, Shirley Breazeale Steelman of Ocean Springs. Jimmy's wish was to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry, where friends and relatives are encouraged to come celebrate Jimmy's life together. The family will receive friends beginning at 6pm, followed by a chapel service at 7, with Rev. John Hosey officiating. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Pace family in their time of need.
