Jessica was a person of unparalleled kindness and selflessness. She embodied love in its purest form, consistently demonstrating a heart that cared for and honored others. Her greatest joy and pride came from the way she could uplift those around her through her thoughtful and compassionate nature. Her passion for loving and caring for others was more than a pastime; it was the very essence of her being. Jessica's life, though short, was marked by a profound ability to honor and support those she cared about, leaving behind memories of warmth and generosity that will forever inspire.

She was preceded in death by her parents Freda Montgomery and Gerald Walters; and her brother, Kevin Walters. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, John Thurmond; her nephew and niece, Joash and Hannah Dennis; her father, JV Montgomery; her daughters, Kaitlyn and Morgan Thurmond; her sister, Tracy Mizell; and many nieces nephews and extended family.
