After a hard-fought battle with appendix cancer, Jerry Telfare Martin, 48 of Saucier, peacefully entered into the Lord's presence on June 12, 2018 at 3:40 PM, surrounded by his family at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport. Jerry was born December 21, 1969 in Gulfport, Mississippi, to Jerry and Katherine (Smith) Martin. Holding down three jobs at the age of 16, he has always been a dedicated and hard-working employee in order to provide for his family. His hard work paid off in the form of numerous promotions throughout his career. He enjoyed his work, but more so, he enjoyed life.
