Jeremy Charles Hariel

Jeremy Charles Hariel, 41, of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away on January 5th,  2024. Jeremy was born on January 25, 1982, the oldest of three children to Charles (Chuck) Orr and Denette Marie (Swilley) Hariel Jr.  He grew up in the Barth community on a small farm where he enjoyed the country life.  He was interested in horses, fishing, hunting, and all things outdoors. Jeremy liked football and played all through school, graduating with the hornet class of 2000. After high school he went to work in the oil field, and was currently working for Exxon Mobil. He is remembered as a wonderful son, brother, and a loving father. Jeremy was loved by his family.  His sons remember him as a big quiet man, that was always there for them. Over the years he enjoyed the outdoors with his family. Though he leaves us much too soon, his memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Jeremy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Hariel, Sr., maternal grandparents Herman and Gladys Swilley, his uncle Terry Swilley, and his great uncle Kermit Ladner. Left to cherish his memories are his two boys, Eli and Ethan Hariel, with their mother, Phyllis Hariel, his grandmother Marie Hariel, his parents Charles(Chuck) and Denette Hariel, his sisters Danielle Hariel and Heidi (Brandon) Ladner, nephew Taylor Donston, and niece Taliyah Acquah, along with many extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10th at Community Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM, with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 with Pastor Bill Cameron, Bro. Josh Daniels, Bro. Dustin Hariel, and Bro. Bretin Hariel officiating. Afterward, Jeremy will be laid to rest in church cemetery.
