Jeremiah Edward Ladner

Jeremiah Edward Ladner, 38, passed away on July 13, 2023, in Saucier. He was born December 15, 1984, in Gulfport, MS, the baby of two children to Tammy Lynette (Shaw) Harriel. He grew up in the Riceville community, a momma's boy from the start. Jeremiah was one to tear things apart, just to try to put it back together. From toys to 4-wheelers, to cars and trucks, he could figure it out. He attended Old Dominion High School, graduating with the Class of 2002. Jeremiah went to work in the construction field, and eventually became a heavy equipment operator. He married Brandy Teter, and they made their home in Saucier and had one son, Eli. Her tragic loss in 2013 forever changed Jeremiah, casting a shadow across his path since. He is remembered as Tammy's baby boy, a loving son that never missed a day of telling her that he loved her. Jeremiah was a loving husband and father who taught his son how to hunt and fish and do all sorts of things in life. He enjoyed his Harley and when he wasn't working on something, he liked to ride the roads and get some "wind therapy". He will be forever loved and sadly missed by all whose life he touched. Jeremiah was preceded by his loving wife, Brandy, and his maternal grandparents, Horace and Jeanette Shaw. Left to cherish his memories are: his only son, Eli and his loving mother, Tammy Harriel, both of Saucier, with his sister, Shauna (Brian) Ladnier of Silver Run. He leaves a host of extended family, friends, and co-workers far and wide, who will all miss him dearly. Services are set for Friday, July 21, 2023, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Visitation will begin at 10 AM, followed by a chapel service at 11. Afterward, he and Brandy will be laid to rest in the Shaw Cemetery.
